OUR INSPIRATION

Our name was also inspired by our travels around the world. Ahilli comes from the Cappadocian Achilli (Achilles). From the depths of history the Greek community of Cappadocia used the term to refer to a person who is perceptive and intelligent. Its etymology can be traced back to a mixture of the local dialect "akıllı" and the Persian term "Akil", which means wisdom, intelligence and acumen.

"Aerno" comes from aerino-airy in Santorini local dialect and is ideal for a family or group of 7 people. "Azul" the color of the clear sky and tranquility is ideal for a family or group of 4 people. They have fully equipped kitchens and spacious living areas to comfortable bedrooms and modern bathrooms and all the details you need to feel at home. Information for neighborhood
On the particularly beautiful island of Santorini, Ahilli houses are located in the village of Kamari. Our village is a very smart choice to explore the picturesque landscapes of Santorini. From Aerno and Azul Home you can enjoy the beautiful view of the hill and the village of Pyrgos. At the entrance of the building you can walk in a green space. A few meters away you can see the village from above from the church of Agios Pakratios or enjoy your movie in the award-winning summer cinema. There are several free parking spaces right outside our accommodation. The bus stop is a 3-minute walk away. The black beach of Kamari, restaurants and various shops are just 10 minutes away by foot. Santorini Airport is 10-15 minutes away by car. The Port of Athens is 30 minutes away by car. Fira, the capital of the island is 15 minutes away by car or bus. Oia, the famous sunset spot is 30 minutes away by car.

As islanders, we have a deep connection with the color blue that goes beyond its visual appeal. Azul, which we encountered during our trip to Portugal, embodies the calm, peaceful and slow essence of our island home. This hue evokes a sense of calm and serenity, like the deep blue sky that surrounds us.
